This two way passive cabinet has been specially designed as a surround speaker for use in large rooms where the cabinets may not be mounted at the optimum angle. It uses two 200mm high power LF drivers and two 25mm HF drivers mounted in fittings that may be angled in any direction by up to 35 degrees from the usual, flat to the front face position. When used in multiples, a very diffuse surround sound field results, also, directing the tweeters away from the mix position may reduce any potential problems caused by beaming. The cabinet is typically driven from a 600W RMS amplifier and provides 92 dB/watt @ 1m. The cabinet is 500 by 400 by 350mm (HWD) Alternative surround speakers may be custom designed or brought in.
