This fully active Mid/High cabinet is designed to be used with the LF 1-400 Low frequency cabinet in smaller rooms (up to 4m from the mix position). It uses a 75mm soft dome MF driver featuring an under-hung coil in a massive motor assembly. This driver has very low distortion and the small dome diameter gives a remarkable dispersion at its high frequency limit while the 75mm voice coil allows very high power handling. The MF efficiency is 94dB/watt @ 1m and will typically be driven by a 350W RMS amplifier. The HF driver is a 25m soft dome design featuring a silver voice coil and an optimally shaped, critically damped rear chamber resulting in very low distortion and well controlled low level resonances. This driver will typically be driven by a 350W RMS amplifier and provides 90dB/watt @ 1m. The separate MH cabinet allows the MF and HF drivers to be aligned to the mix position without requiring the LF cabinets to be similarly angled, this saves space in the front wall design and allows all three drivers to be kept close to the screen (for behind screen or cloth applications) reducing any distortion caused by screen or cloth reflections. The MH cabinet will be mounted on top of the LF cabinet. The cabinet is 500 by 300 by 300mm (HWD) and is finished in fine black spatter paint.
